Rights of Use
By submitting new, original puzzles to Puzzle Junction, the submittor agrees to the following:
- If accepted and purchased by Puzzle Junction, any and all creative work submitted to Puzzle Junction becomes the property of Puzzle Junction, Puzzle Junction.com and S. James Enterprises. The creator/submittor may not sell, re-sell or in any other way provide the subject work to anyone else as a new, original work, or as a previously published work. However, the creator may, with written consent of Puzzle Junction, Puzzle Junction.com and S. James Enterprises, include the subject work in a compilation of his or her own works for sale at a later date (one year from date of purchase by Puzzle Junction), providing that the creator acknowledges that the subject work has previously appeared in print.
- Creator acknowledges and submits that, by receipt of payment, he or she reserves no rights to the creative work, not withstanding authorship, future payments, and/or copyright protection. Puzzle Junction may or may not, at its sole discretion, give authorship recognition (by-line) to the creator; and if authorship recognition is given, it will only be with the prior written permission of the author and/or creator. Written permission for this purpose includes, but is not limited to, an email transmission, a regular mail transmission, or a verbal transmission with time, date and grantor's name and address recorded on paper by Puzzle Junction at the time permission is granted.
- Submissions not accepted by Puzzle Junction will not be returned. Creator will be notified of the non-acceptance by email, and creator is thereafter free to submit, resubmit or otherwise dispose of his or her work in the usual way. It is therefore advisable for submittor to retain a copy of the work submitted to Puzzle Junction.
It is the intention of Puzzle Junction to cultivate and retain, through fair business practices, puzzle creators who are happy to submit creative works for acceptance and payment. We are in business to show a profit, as are the fine folks who submit puzzles to us, so your success and our success is therefore interrelated. Should you have any questions, we can always be reached by phone or email (please use email first!). Just go to the Contact page for the correct contact information.
